Progress, not perfection

Time flies.  Cliche but true.  I feel like all I have done in the past few weeks was buy retro and vintage cookbooks (which I cannot eat like half of the recipes due to celiac disease) but I fell into a world of cookbook facsimiles I didn't know existed and watched Mad Men a second time through leading up to the finale.

I have made some very slow progress on my sewing projects.  I have traced off more patterns then I will be able to sew in months (a perk of having a pattern table at work and a lunch break in which to do so) and maybe stitched a few letters on my sampler and have worked on customising my dress form.  Too bad I am too lazy to actually sew after the toddler is in bed at night.

New Plan:
Start a retro diet and workout regine.

Sewing post will resume.  I almost finished a blouse.

WIP's

I have so many!

Current projects include:
ABC Embroidery, Posie Gets Cozy
Portrait Blouse, Gertie's New Book for Better Sewing
Bear's Rainbow Blanket, Purl Bee

On deck:
Ginger Jeans, Closet Case Patterns
Violet Blouse, Colette Patterns

I hope by getting this out into the world will help me stay motivated on tying up loose ends. I have a standard office schedule, and wrangle a toddler in my day-to-day, so posts aren't going to be on a specific schedule, but a way to keep myself accountable and a place to show off my finished makes.

Cheers!
